Jim Kerber Information Page

Jim Kerber studied dance and costume design at the University of Oregon.  As resident designer for Ballet Celeste International and the Theatre Ballet of San Francisco, he designed several dozen ballets, including full length versions of SLEEPING BEAUTY, SWAN LAKE and THE NUTCRACKER.   His middle career years were spent as a press agent, first at the American Conservatory Theatre and as a freelance press agent in San Francisco, and later representing the national touring companies of the Broadway musicals, ANNIE, LENA HORNE - THE LADY AND HER MUSIC, 42ND STREET  and two companies of CATS.   When he traded in his ballet slippers for figure skates nine years ago, he began making skating costumes for ice dancers, which led to the creation of JFK DESIGNS, his company in Oakland, which specializes in original costume designs for figure skaters and ballroom dancers.
